The book that started it all for me was Napoleon Hills’ book
Think and Grow Rich, I couldn’t get enough and really still can’t, I find the subject endlessly interesting. I am always curious about the habits of successful people. I love reading about respected entrepreneurs & love to see what I could learn from them and their habits.
Tony Robbins
Tony Robbins is a best-selling author and entrepreneur and uses a daily technique he calls “priming“. He breaks it into three, three-minute segments.
He focuses the first three minutes on something simple that he is grateful for. The second three-minutes he “feels the presence of God” and sends positive energy to his family and friends and others.
The third three-minutes he calls “three to thrive” where he identifies three results that he is committed to achieving. Tony says that the two things that lead to poor choices are anger and fear gratitude can eliminate them both.
Some other success and happiness habits he follows are:
1. Spend 30 minutes a day reading, no skipping.
2. Learn to act in spite of uncertainty, take calculated risks.
3. Develop a mindset of generosity and abundance– feeling abundant (even though reality may be a tad different) and giving often and generously.
4. Choose your partners wisely, selectively choose people that align with your goals and needs.
5. Never stop asking the right questions– What are the questions that drive you/your business forward? Where do you find your greatest answers?
